Global Wrestling Alliance Edit
The Global Wrestling Alliance is an international Professional Wrestling/MMA promotion, founded as a way to save the industry from certain death in the post Monday Night War era.
Debuting in 2016, the GWA presented itself through three, now five, major promotions or "brands". Each brand has a roster composed of fighters from around the world in the four recognized weight classes. Each week fighters will battle it out on their home show, with some competing on the weekly GWA Live interpromotional show. Every six months the entire roster is returned to Free Agent status, with the exception of the five reserve slots on each show, and a draft is held. There is no limit to how large a roster may be, and each show is allotted ten rookies to train throughout the cycle. A promotion may not reserve the same wrestler two drafts in a row.
